Welcome to our new site, nothing fancy just us posting about what is going on in our lives. Today it is Alex posting and today went TERRIBLE! Ian and I go out to the mall because its raining, tons of people so we get excited (it's usually not busy during the week), so we both open right away. Rejected by both and in a strange way, just complete blow off, okay fine we are still warming up. Next set goes the SAME way, we maybe approached 3 or 4 sets just complete blowout after another. We had to take a break and rethink some things, after eating we decided to just keep going perhaps some indirect game to see where that lands us. Ian goes into a set and looks like it is doing really well. FINALLY!
He number closed, boosted my hopes and had him feeling better. Okay so it is possible and not every girl has her bitch shield up to 9000 (OVER 9000!!!!!!!), I go open a set and went for the number close. The girl said something to me that I didn't even think about "I don't even know you..." my first reaction was "There's only one way to find out" but really, she had a good point. Something that I have been ignoring from my game for a while is just going on rants about my own adventures so they can relate to me, instead of just me trying to relate with them. Next couple of sets for me were uneventful, but they went much better once I adapted that to my game.
Ian quoted someone earlier today when we were having a rough time and it totally makes sense "Its the days that you do poorly that you grow the most.". No idea who said it, but GOD DAMN its true.
